Easy One Dish Vegan Banana Oat Bread

If you like banana nut bread, but you are allergic to nuts than this is a great alternative. The oats in the bread provides a nutty texture without all the dangerous side affects. There is nut or seed butter included in the recipe, but it can be left out without affecting the overall texture.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 whole Ripe Bananas
  • 1 cup Rolled oats
  • 1 1/2 cup Unbleached all purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp Baking powder
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1/2 cup Neutral oil
  • 6 tbsp Nut or seed butter optional
  • 3/4 cup Plant-based milk
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla
  • 1/4 cup Maple (or alternative) syrup
  • 3/4 cup Mix-ins of choice (choc. chips, blueberries, etc.) optional

Equipment

  • 1 Baking dish
  • 1 Fork or spoon for mixing
  • 1 Measuring cup set

Method
 

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Add all ingredients into a baking dish and mix it all together.
  3. Bake in oven for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Wait a few minutes before cutting once removed from the oven. Serve warm.
